Bethany Social Service Society (BSSS) was started as a social service organization to serve the poor and needy in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu. The District is known for its backwardness in education, employment and health services and tribal population. |

We all know that the villages are the backbone of economic development of the agricultural country like India. So we have to give priority to the rural development for the national prosperity. |

In this context, the migration of people from the villages to cities in search of work creates many problems, like
- Imbalance in the density of the population
- Proliferation of slums
- Problems of health and hygiene
- Problems of unemployment
- Problems of social unrest and loosing of identity
- Moreover, Thalli being a border area needs people in the villages particularly around the border areas for safety.
- Therefore it is absolutely necessary to make these villagers self-reliant.

BSSS is carrying out sustainability development activities in and around Thally Block and Denkanikottai Taluk of Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. |

BSSS is established for the benefit and betterment of needy, poor and economically backward people.
- To provide accommodation, food, clothes and valued education to the orphans and poor children.
- To provide shelter, food, clothes and medical assistance to the aged.
- To render necessary aid for the upliftment of poor and destitute women.
- To promote, organize, to establish, support, maintain and to give financial assistance to any person, institution, society.
